Gylder v0.4.0: What's New

Gylder Team·

This release turns on the paid plans. Basic and Pro are now live, both with a 14-day trial, so you can settle on the plan that fits how you actually use Gylder. Alongside that, there's a refer-a-friend programme that rewards both sides, clearer notifications when your plan changes, a way to get back in if you ever lose your authenticator, and a refreshed look across the site.

Plans you can actually pick

Basic and Pro are both live, and both start with a 14-day trial.

  • Basic is built to be useful on day one. It includes manual entries, so you can track property, vehicles, valuables, and anything else by hand, with a 30-day chart history to keep an eye on the trend.
  • Pro is the full picture: portfolio analysis, alerts, unlimited integrations, and your complete history, with no cap on how far back you can look.

Every plan, paid or free, still includes a full export of your own data whenever you want it.

Refer a friend, and you both win

There's now a refer-a-friend programme built into the app. Share your personal invite link or code, and when a friend subscribes, you both get a free month. Your settings page shows a running tally of who you've invited and how many have signed up, and each free month you've earned stacks onto your renewal date automatically.

You'll always know when your plan changes

When your plan changes, for any reason, you now get a clear notification and a one-time banner explaining exactly what happened and what it means. Starting a trial, upgrading, a scheduled downgrade taking effect at renewal, or a cancellation dropping you back to free: no more guessing why a feature looks different than it did yesterday.

Never locked out by two-factor

If you ever lose access to your authenticator app, you can now request a reset and re-enroll yourself, without waiting on support. For the rare locked-out case that needs a hand, we can help you recover securely too. Two-factor should protect you, not trap you.

A fresh coat of paint

The marketing site has had a full redesign, with a cleaner landing page, a proper product features overview, and a new About page that explains who we are and why we built Gylder. Shared links now show a richer preview card as well.

Honest about bank linking

Automatic bank connections are scheduled for September 2026. Until then, manual entries cover the gap, which is exactly why Basic includes them: you can build a complete picture of your net worth today, and bank syncing will slot in on top when it goes live. We'll send a note the moment it does.

What's next

With the Basic and Pro subscriptions launched, we're focused on the run-up to bank linking and on making everything around it sharper. If anything in this release doesn't behave the way you'd expect, send us a note; we read everything.
